Salina, Kansas fairly early and headed down to Wichita to eat at Cracker Barrel. It was nice to have some sweet tea after all these western states without any!
As we drove through Kansas we saw farm after farm of milo, corn, and soybeans. This state seems to be very well watered and needs less irrigation than the other states we've visited.
We hit the Arkansas line after dark, and ran into yet another thunderstorm with torrential rain. We got into Jonesboro, AR around 11:30 pm after driving for three hours in terrible conditions.
Tomorrow we will head home!
Can't wait til you get back!! I'VE MISSED YOU!! Glad you have had a great trip and can't wait to hear all your stories and see all your pictures. ~Elissa
