We left Lawrenceburg and drove straight thru to St. Charles, MO (Western suburb of St. Louis). We got to see the Gateway Arch tonight, which was beautiful! We've driven nearly 500 miles through 4 states thus far.
I have been to the arch and gone up in it. I have not seen it at night. This picture is beautiful. Be safe and have a great time. Love ya, Shirley Brown

THE CANYON IS QUITE A SITE ISN'T IT. RENITA, HANNAH, JACOB AND I ALL WALKED TO THE BOTTOM OF THOSE STAIRS AT THE BASE OF THE FALLS THE LAST TIME WE WERE THERE. I THINK INSTEAD OF MAKING RENITA PHYSICALLY SICK, SHE WAS SO TERRIFIED OF THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE STEPS AND THE WAY THEY GO OVER SOME PRETTY SCARY DIPS. THAT MADE THE ADVENTURE QUITE EVENTFUL. BUT THE DESENT WAS WORTH THE EFFORT.
